This is my take on "Girl with a Pearl Earring" by Vermeer. This model is a client of mine and when I saw her bone structure I thought it was perfect as a reference for this painting that I wanted to do. I used the exact same color pallet as Vermeer and seeing the original up close when it was on display helped me tremendously to accomplish my goal of honoring that beautiful work.

Hairdresser by day, painter by night. Lance's passion for wildlife and color are married with his years of understanding geometrics (through hairdressing). As a master stylist he "doesn't do random" as there is always a method behind the madness. With no formal art training he has worked hard and sought private study with other master painters.
